Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that support business objectives and enhance user experiences. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely with occasional in-person collaboration sessions when required. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in a timely manner. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Optimize application performance, security, and reliability. Develop and maintain APIs, databases, and backend services where applicable. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems. Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 2+ years of experience in software development. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, PHP, or Go. Experience with modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, Django, Laravel, Spring Boot). Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
