About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Health Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of our healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, coordinating with clients, healthcare providers, and internal teams, while maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support to the health operations team.
Coordinate client onboarding, enrollment, and healthcare service requests.
Maintain and update client records, databases, and operational reports.
Monitor and track healthcare service delivery to ensure quality and efficiency.
Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Schedule meetings, appointments, and follow-up communications as required.
Assist with claims processing, provider coordination, and healthcare documentation.
Prepare operational reports and support data collection for management review.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational processes and client experience.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and data confidentiality requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Health Management, Public Health, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in healthcare administration, operations, customer service, or a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid/remote environment.
Problem-solving mindset and customer-focused approach.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), hospital, clinic, insurance company, or healthcare startup.
Familiarity with healthcare operations, claims management, or provider management.
Knowledge of CRM systems and healthcare management software.
Basic data analysis and reporting skills.
